Holiday Club 2018—Welcome!

30 July–3 August

What is Holiday Club?

Holiday Club is an annual adventure packed full of stories, songs, drama, messy challenges, quizzes, games, craft and prayers and quieter times too!  It is run by Christians from the local churches.  This year's theme is,  ‘Lost on Jungle Island’. Tim, Sarah & Rachel will be in charge for the week as we embark on another extraordinary adventure, this time somewhere in Pacific Ocean. There will be singing, messy challenges, a serial drama, games on the field, creative crafts and quieter times to chat and chill with friends both old and and new. We will be finding out about the life of Joseph as we hear the stories of his dreams, coat, time spent in prison and how he saves millions from starvation. Head to the ‘booking’ page to download a consent form for your child/ren.

tbc: Holiday Club this year is working together with Mad-Hatters, who are offering afternoon care for your children for an additional £15 per session. Holiday Club leaders will be responsible for taking your child there on the days required. (Please ensure you indicate this on the Consent form) Mad-Hatters will be open until 6.00pm from Monday–Thursday tbc

Whilst Holiday Club is based around what Christian’s believe in the bible, we take a gentle approach, ensuring that we present the stories faithfully, giving all children a chance to hear them, think about them and make their own minds up about what they mean and whether to believe themselves. We do not try to force our beliefs on anyone – we believe we have something amazing and positively life changing to share and want everyone else to have the chance to know this too.

The Histon and Impington Council of Churches Holiday Club runs from 30 July–3 August 9.45am-12.30pm, for all children currently at Infant or Junior School. Venue: Histon Baptist Church
